Analogue and digital signals
What is Analogue and digital signals?
An analogue signal varies continuously and can take any value within its range, so it is an exact copy of the quantity it represents. A digital signal has only two values, usually described as on and off or as 1 and 0, and information is carried as a sequence of those pulses. A sound can be transmitted either way.
