Statistical Charts and Diagrams
What is Statistical Charts and Diagrams?
The family of diagrams used to display categorical and discrete data in Cambridge O Level Mathematics 4024: bar charts with separated bars of equal width and a labelled frequency scale, composite and dual bar charts with a legend and a shared baseline, pie charts whose sector angle is the frequency divided by the total frequency multiplied by 360 degrees and whose angles must sum to 360 degrees, pictograms whose key applies to partial symbols as strictly as to whole ones, and simple frequency diagrams. Every one of them is a scale drawing of a frequency table, so every height, angle and symbol count is computed from that table rather than judged by eye.
