What is Mosquito Life Cycle?

The four stages through which a mosquito develops: eggs laid on the surface of water, an aquatic larva, an aquatic pupa, and a flying adult. Three of the four stages depend on standing water, which is why removing or covering standing water removes the breeding site and reduces the number of adult mosquitoes that emerge.
